I started my journey at Healthcare on Collins (Mid-town Medical Clinic) in March 2014 as a Medical Receptionist. After learning the ropes, I transitioned to Medical Specialists on Collins (MSOC) in 2017 and by 2018, I was promoted to Manager of MSOC. With the invaluable assistance of my colleagues, I now oversee the operations and requirements of nearly 30 Medical Specialists.

My career in the healthcare sector spans 15 rewarding years. Before joining MSOC family, I was a Medical Receptionist and Transcriptionist at an independent radiology clinic in Geelong. I also dedicated many years as a volunteer Emergency First Aid Officer/Team Leader with the Australian Red Cross, Geelong. From motocross events and music concerts to almost any sporting event you could think of, our team was always on standby ready to provide emergency first aid. We were also continuously on call, ready to respond to unexpected emergencies like the Black Saturday fires in 2009.

One of my strongest drives is improving patient care. I strive to ensure every patient’s experience at Healthcare on Collins is as comfortable and seamless as possible. Working at a large multidisciplinary clinic like ours offers the unique opportunity to streamline our patients’ journey, from General Practitioners to Allied Health Practitioners, Specialists, Pathology, and Radiology.

Besides my role as the Manager of the Medical Specialists Reception, I’m also the go-to person for any IT-related issues. You’ll often see me troubleshooting computers and printers.

Outside of work I love spending quality time with my husband James and my family, and attempting new craft projects, and gaming.

Currently, I am working from Monday to Thursday each week and am always eager to lend a helping hand.
